I have never really used Prezi before but I really enjoyed it once I got started. I chose to do my ILP on the standard SC.2.L.16.1 which wants kids to "observe and discover major stages in the life cycle of plants and animals", so I created my Prezi about the life cycle of a butterfly. I enjoyed using Prezi for this because I was able to choose a timeline style and also with Prezi you can click on pictures to make them larger so I added pictures for each stage of a butterfly for kids to be able to see. I could definitely see myself using Prezi in my future classroom.
Prezi!!
I really like how you chose a background that perfectly matched your topic. Maybe you could include a cool time lapse video of the cycle to gives kids a real world visual?

Sam, I really liked your Prezi presentation! I think you effectively taught the lesson of the life cycle. The only thing I would suggest adding would be a video on the life cycle and maybe adding different animals as well as plants! That way students would have a better understanding through different examples and ways of getting the lesson to be understood and remembered by your students!
ReplyDeleteSam, I really enjoyed your Prezi presentation. I did a Prezi for my first ILP and I personally enjoyed it because it allowed you to be very creative. One thing I would mention is that you should make your pictures a little bit bigger so that it is easier to see what they are. Other than that, you really did a great job and I truly enjoyed your presentation.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! This was super cute, and its not cause I'm a huge fan of butterflies or anything like that! But i think you got straight to the point for each screen, I am not sure what grade this is for but possibly adding a few more pictures in. I am a huge fan of visual representation and I think the students may pay more attention as well. I thought it was cool how you had a link to something else, only when i clicked on each slide the all connected to the same link, was that supposed to happen or maybe it was some sort of glitch? Overall I really enjoyed this cute little prezi!
